This tiny islet located in the depths of the bay of the same name is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Crete. Free time (approx..3h) on Elafonisi separated from the mainland by a very shallow sea. It is possible to reach by walking on the sandy bottom. Drive to Chrysoskalitissa Monastery, then visit in a small traditional shop with local products – honey, honey based products, cheese, olives and wine which you can taste and buy as a souvenirs. A pleasant end to the day is the visit to the local winery which includes tour of the winery cellar and visit in a museum. This is a great occasion to try local products - cheese, olives and wine.
