Do you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? Go on an excursion to Thailand's largest national park and immerse yourself in the rainforest.
At the start of the day, you will be picked up from the hotel to head towards Kaeng Krachan National Park, a nature reserve situated on the border with Myanmar and inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Along the way, you will see lush green rice fields, as well as pineapple, mango, and papaya plantations. You will catch a glimpse of the daily life of the province's residents and feel the rhythm of the Thai countryside.
The first stop will be the picturesque Kaeng Krachan Lake, which was formed after the dam was built on the Phetchaburi River. The water surface, nearly 47 km2 in area, is surrounded by green hills and tropical jungle.
Next, you will take a walk through the tropical forest, where you might encounter exotic birds, monkeys, and butterflies. If you are lucky, even gibbons or elephants. This is one of the most biodiverse places in Thailand.
After an exciting hike, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you will relax during a cruise on Kaeng Krachan Lake. From the deck, you will see submerged trees, peaceful bays, and small islands. Nature in its full glory, away from the tourist crowds.
After a day spent in contact with nature, you will return to the hotel with a sense of tranquillity and amazement.
