Program Description
Travel via coach to the port, boarding the catamaran, crossing the Egyptian-Jordanian border in Akaba. Coach travel to Petra (approx. 2 hours). A walk along the exquisitely scenic Siq gorge, second largest in the world, to the amazing city of Nabataeans carved out of sandstone rock. In the programme: The Pharaohs' Treasury, Royal Tombs, temples carved in the cliff, amphitheatre (exterior visits). Lunch. Time for individual sightseeing. Optional horseback or carriage ride at extra charge.
Egyptian currency is not accepted in Jordan, you can pay in EUR or USD.
