Pick-up from hotels and transfer to Relvão Park. The trekking route, approximately 7.4 km long, goes through Monte Brasil, an extinct volcano located right next to the city of Angra do Heroísmo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The trek begins at Relvão Park, leading to the Santo António chapel with views over the city and bay, then onward to the Pico do Facho summit, circling a crater covered with endemic Azorean heather and the ruins of Forte da Quebrada. The trail then heads to Pico das Cruzinhas hill in the Monte Brasil reserve, offering panoramic views of Angra do Heroísmo, remnants of World War II artillery, and the 500th Anniversary of Terceira Island Settlement Monument. The route ends back at Relvão Park, followed by transfer to hotels.
